 : : INTRODUCTIONThailand has been received an opportunity to host the 4th conference of AASM, which will be held from November 26-29, 2008, at Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Researchers from various countries and regions in Asia including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand, which have experienced hosting the Olympic Games, the World Cup Football, Commonwealth Games, World Transplant Games, and World Universiade Games, as well as China which is in progress of preparations for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, will join the conference to exchange the ideas, and discuss on the issues concerning the experiences for managing mega events and the development of sport management in Asia.
